each of us has a Good side & an Evil side, they both show according to the occasion.. & what dominates along our lives is what we can't control or hold back.
but nobody is "pure" Good or Evil.
we are neither Angels, nor Devils.
peace out

We are both naturally good and evil. The balance is the question. Evil is there to provide the difference of right and wrong for your mind to know what not to do. In this way we know our limitations.
The problem lies with the imbalance of our minds and no one to guide us properly when we are young or strung out over upset or obsessions. These are the key factors. When the bad so to speak over powers within us we have lost our balance like in gym on the balance beam we lose our footing and fall. This is when we should snap too and get up and gather our thoughts and balance. However when we harbour the hatred that breeds into us from wrong doings against our person then we are breeding the evil and it over populates your decisions with negative thoughts. This is when we are un-natural and behavior becomes negative and pulls us off axis like the north and south pole. Repelling is the action between them but in this case the negativity pulls to where the evil takes over. The norm is considered here what is rational, good or bad behavior? Evil is the destructive side and it is used readily to defend the good in us but when we let it rule in us it becomes a disease and we no longer are defending we are the aggressor and sincerely need defense from our own self. That is when you need to interact with a person that is balanced to help you get back your balance. For we are all in need of the action the polar axis from our earth provides. We are physical and that plays a big part in our lives unfortunately, because for thoughts with good conscience should nearly always be first, well at least 3/4 of the time.

I think the answer is yes. With a certain amount of trainable attributes that; depending upon environment, will produce a well balanced person; one who will be able to defuse whatever aggressive, malicious or sociopath urges he feels, in a non- violent manner. Being able to vent in a more positive way due to upbringing, training. But- if the chemical properties of the brain or the transmitters of emotional, physical input, are damaged from that of the "normal" human brain then this predisposes a person to act "evilly" then there is not much environment could do to instill modified "good" behavior. The same hold true for the "good" person, not much you can do beyond trauma, like training an attack dog, to induce evil behavior. Most often they will be tractable people all their lives. I believe it will all depend upon "degree's" just how inclined one way or the other the particular person happens to be will be an indicator of how tractable or intractable they will be.

There is god in each and everyone of us. That is good.
On the other hand, biologically, without the god within us that provides the guidance, we tend to be self centered and likely to take advantage of others and at their expense. That is evil.
On balance, given the fact that in human history, more people died from human created disasters than natural disasters, I would say that we don't have enough good people to provide the check and balances to a small number of people who are evil.

I would say Good, b/c Evil is too harsh of a word to describe our natural everyday sinful nature, however there is a good majority of people in this world who are evil, but I personally do not think that they outnumber The GOOD, or the will to do good.

some people are good and some are bad. i like to think that most people deep down are good and if they are bad it's because they've been mistreated or have some justifiable reason for their bitterness towards the world. but really it just depends on the individual.

Everybody is born a clean slate. Except for people with neurological disorders (faulty brain wiring) that make them behave in a non-socially acceptable way (antisocial behavior).
So we are neither naturally.

Generally good. Because most people do not mature much. All children are born good, aren't they? Those who mature much do not quite remain natural. So people are generally naturally good.

We are just ignorant about the wholeness of life.
We are clinging to our selfishness and make judgment like good and evil.
We cannot see the truth because our mind is clouded with illusions.
