I am gradding this year.... and can't wait to get out of highschool. My highschool experience has been miserable. i have never fitted in anywhere even though i am a great person, and others think so too. I have many people to talk to at school, in classes, but i don't have friends to hang out at lunch... or after school, or on the weekends.... and i am really lonely... and it's depressing... any quality suggestions on what i can do to get rid of lonelyness...

If people say you are a great person, then hang out with the people that say that!
Try to find others that look lonely as well. Get a group of those people and see how it goes.
If you're a nice person, and have many people to talk to, then ask anyone if they want to do something this weekend. I've found that joining clubs is a great way to meet people. KEY Club (if it is offered in your school) is a great way to meet intelligent, well-rounded kids.
If you're old enough, maybe a dating website would be a good way to find companionship?
Good luck, and keep your head up!

Join some extracurricular activities. You're bound to meet people with the same interests in u. Sign up for some clubs too. If yr really that great a person then you'll find pals no prob. U just need a fresh start.

Meet new friends at a teen social club. Look in your community to see if they have one. Some churches also organize social gathering for teens. You may feel lonely right now but things will get better over time. If you plan on going to college, a whole new world will open up for you from the misery of high school.

Have you thought of joining any groups or clubs? I don't mean things they have at school but like local clubs in your town. You can volunteer to be a Big Brother/Big Sister to another who may be having the same problems you had in school.

There is also meeting people online and getting to know them. I've meant a ton of my friends online and I've only meant them maybe once or twice but we've been friends for years. Gives you someone to talk to.

Good Luck, I understand how lonely it can seem when you have no one there to listen or talk to.
