if you are using windows xp, click on the folder, it will unzip for you. if you are using other operating systems, use winzip. trial version is avaiable for free to download.

To unzip a file, you'll need an unzip program to do it. Windows XP has this support built-in, but most people don't use it.

I suggest that you pick up 7-zip at http://www.7zip.org as it's a free Zip/Unzip program so you don't have to cough up the $20-$40 for WinZip OR WinRAR.

Hi Ben b,

If you have a new Mac using OS X, you just double click on the zip file and it will un-archive the file for you. If you have an older mac then you'll have Stuff-it and you still only need to double-click on the file to expand it.

There are quite a lot available. I find Winzip and Winrar the best. Winrar is more versatile. I did not try 7-zip.

If you use WindowsXP you can simply treat the file like a folder.
Otherwise download either:
WinZip,
PKZip for Windows, or
WinRAR.

Download WinZip from www.download.com or winzip.com. After you download the program, the program will walk you through the rest.
