Firstly, if you are serious about getting the job, you should never lie in your answers. Even if you were dismissed from your previous job, be honest and explain the reasons. If the fault for the dismissal were your doing - says you have learnt from the mistake and like to move on in your career.

At the end of the interview, ask the interviewer when a decision will be made? If he says in 2 weeks' time, mark date on your calender. If you fail to hear from him by that date, it would mean you did not get the job or shortlisted for 2nd interview etc.

Experience is what you get when you don't get what you want. Take every interview process as an experience for better performance in the next job interview. Best wishes.

I recall a note at the bottom of the application for places I interviewed at, and it said "we keep applications for 6 months". That gives them the latitude to call you back within 6 months. If they used the phone to make contact the last time, yes they more than likely will make the phone contact if/when you're hired. When you have an interview send the interviewer a snailmail note to thank them and let them know you're interested in the job.

Robbie383, how on earth would anyone know the answer to that question? Or rather, those questions? It depends entirely on the hospital personnel department. It's quite alright to phone and ask when you can expect to know their decision. But my crystal ball is a little foggy right now, so I'm afraid I can't tell you.

The hospital is where you should ask your question, we do not know the policy of the hospital.
