He means detect. You can tell your graphics card is in if you use a program called aida32. If you can't find that then just go to the control panel and go to performance and maintenance. From there click on basic system information and click on the hardware tab. Then click on the device manager and when that opens up click on the display adapter in the list. It should tell you what your graphics card is. This is if you have Windows XP, I'm not sure otherwise.
