It means "Due Diligence"
Researching the information and claims a company makes to make certain you are making a wise investment.

Oops. Didn't read all the question. DD in investing means due diligence.
In banking it means "Direct Deposit".
In Yahoo Answers, it means "Doo Doo" which is what I stepped in while answering without actually reading the whole question.

DD=due diligence. It means you should do adequate research before jumping into or out of any deal.
On reading other post it may mean direct deposit.
Either one depending on the contest.
