He approaches me & talks to me in person, but not so much on aim, like only 1 or 2 word answers.

lol he is talking 2 abunch of ppl and cant say much or he doesent like typeing or he is playing a game or he is just plain lazy

He may not spell well or type fast. Some people just do much better talking in person. I prefer to talk on the computer. Everyone's different.

Maybe he's just not into talking on the computer. I would give more weight to his actions in real life than to his online actions to judge how much he interested in me. Seeing people in real life is more personal and more responsive and you can see someone's reaction and stuff and that might be his preference for communicating with you.
