Yes, and no. I'd only be offended if my spouse didn't spend ANY time visiting with my parents and I. I mean, we're not joined at the hip, but as a matter of respect, your spouse should make time to visit with your parents also.

If he/she didn't make an effort to at least spend some quality time with my parents and I during the visit, I'd be offended.

I think when married you both should visit family together.
My husband has never done anything like that when my parents were living. I may be old fashioned in the way I was raised but I think as long as they get along, they should be a part of the others family.

One would assume that would be the point of visiting the parents - to se ethem and hang out with them. So obviously you went far to visit them? I can understand why you would be annoyed. I hope you didn't have plans or anything.
