NTFS on FC6?

Im new at linux.

I am trying to install ntfs support on my Linux box. I have kernel version 2.6.18-1.2798.fc6 i686 , and when I run "yum install kmod-ntfs" I get the message "Error: Missing Dependency: ntfs-kmod-common >= 2.1.27 is needed by package kmod-ntfs
"

Any ideas how I can get to my files???

Turn your computer off. Ship it back to where it came from. Buy a new one, with Windows or Mac OS X. Take it from there. Linux sucks.
