When I was far from sober,

And a pig passing by came to lay at my side.

And the pig got up and slowly walked away.

That was the worst poem I ever heard......Really!

The meter's a little off, and the rhyme seems a bit forced in spots, but it is very creative and certainly showcases a good sense of humor as well as making a statement, so yeah, it's pretty good. So polish it up and get it published. I recommend "The Versifier Poetry and Art Forum" if you're serious about it. If not, scrawl it on a bar room bathroom wall or something.

I like it. You know, you're reading it and then you kind of get pissed off because you're thinking, "hey...is someone insulting the pig? what did the pig do? it's totally innocent! I like pigs! And then, you just give it that twist in the end and wow! :)
