yes, but extremely highly unlikely because the bulbar conjunctiva (the white part of the eye) folds over just past your upper eyelid and you would be able to see it...

No, you cant lose a lens in your eye. It cant go behind the eye; however, it can become stuck under the lid. Wash hands then irrigate with loooooooooooooooooooots of h20 until it comes out. Do not rub.

I have had it move from my eye when I rub it and go behind my eye ball after rubbing to get it to the front again to get it out that's with my eye watering and irritation. I got it out. I say you should get your eye check again to make sure that your contact is the right size.

Yep. I had one slide up to the top of my eye ball when I fell asleep with my lenses in. It creeped me out. Nothing worse than feeling something on top of your eye ball and not being able to just grab a hold of it and take it off. And yes, you would know it. I had to pull my eyelid up and coax the darn thing down. Took me a few minutes but it came out.

ummm.. yeah. i do it all the time. gets stuck way up under the lid either to the eyeball itself or inside the lid. but its usually pretty uncomfortable. get someone else to look for you and wash up in there real well with saline solution. if it's not too painful, it probably just fell out.

No way. It might 'slip' around to the side of your eye but the structure of the human eye would make it impossible to completely "lose" a contact lens.

Ya it's happened to me before. It folded in half and kinda got stuck up behind my eyeball. I had to move my eyeball around and slide it around till I could grab it. You gotta watch out for this when your lenses are too dry.

No, there are muscles that prevent it from going to the back of your eye. I've been wearing contacts for 10 years and it has never happened to me.
