Neither. Same sex relationships are wrong, and the day will come when the world will no longer put up with their cr@p. The reason the US government gives tax breaks, etc. to married couples is because they are investing in the future of our country. Most married couples have kids and raise their families on strong moral values. So, same sex couples can't reproduce. They can adopt and females can get inseminated out of wedlock. In both cases, the children that they raise will be brought up in a family with same sex parents. What's the kid going to say? Mommy is sleeping with Mommy? Daddy is sleeping with Daddy. I don't know about you, but if a kid has to say those words, they are definitely at a clear disadvantage when it comes to understanding both human life and civilization.

regardless of if there are no longer any felony adjustments between the Civil Union and Marriage, asserting that the two are “equivalent yet distinctive” isn't a valid argument. If marriage became no longer perceived as someway greater suitable to the civil union, then no person might combat against the appropriate for gay human beings to get married. There wouldn’t be any might desire to call it a civil union with each and all of the needed added legality – it would be less complicated just to enhance the appropriate to marry out to comparable intercourse couples. the undeniable fact that persons do face as much as the assumption of gay marriage propose this “compromise” of civil unions is the very reason we would desire to combat to be dealt with the two.

Gay marriage. Civil Union is something created by bigots to make themselves feel like they were being something other than bigots; it's also akin to 'throwing the dog a bone'.
GLBT folk are just, if not more committed to their partners than straights. The argument that Gay marriage will ruin the institution is crap. If the Institution of marriage was as sacred as the religious right would have us believe, half of their marriages wouldn't end up, tossed aside as used rags.
Marriage grants certain civil rights to committed couples. Marriage isn't simply 'holy' as athiests and agnostics are permitted that recognition. Marriage, the civil recognition is separate from the Christian sacrament, and that' why civil documents must be prepared to complete it.
Gays and lesbians need to be permitted to marry, at least civilly. Without this recognition, partners have been prohibited from seeing each other when one has been dying in Intensive care. Couples have been forced to spend for separate rooms in hotels. This is all aside from the legal recognition of their commitment. It's time for things to change.

Gay Marriage is An afront to the American culture.
Every body has a right to share their property as well as debts, and responsibilities with whoever they wish.
But nobody has the right to force me to change my culturural beliefs.

Marriage. A civil union only conveys states conferred rights. Eventually we want to have nationally conferred rights as well.
