My 8 year old cousin is having a fieldtrip with her class. Her teacher was my 3th grade teacher. I really liked her, and i have not seen her in the last 10 years. I am also going on this fieldtrip. When my cousin told her i was going, she actually remembered who i was. So yeah, this weekend, we are meeting again but i am not sure what i should say in our conversations. What to ask her, and all that stuff. Please help. Thank you.

Well, start by saying "hello Mrs ..........., I'm so glad to see you" and just let things go from there. You'll be so busy with the kids you probably won't have much time to talk. Just let the others around you carry the conversation, chances are she'll ask about your life, etc and you can do the same. You might be surprised how easy it will be. Enjoy it!

There's the old classic, "So how are you doing?"

Chances are the teacher will comment on how you look pretty much the same but have grown up, and she'll probably ask you if you remember one thing or another - and then the field trip will commence, and not much conversation will go on between just her and you. She's got a class of kids to worry about and any other adults who'll be going along to talk with.

Start at the last time you saw her, ie where you were, what you were doing, and fill in until you get to the present!
