Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless mind is the best movie. If you liked it a lot you should see Michael Gondry’s new film “The Science of Sleep”. It’s sooooo romantic. It takes you inside the dream world of a Man in Love. The movie is random just like a real dream, but it’s so sad and sweet and funny all at the same time. It’s also aesthetically beautiful. People who found Sunshine too strange definitely wouldn’t like it.
I like Jim Carrey when ever he is not being too crazy. He was great in Eternal Sunshine and Truman Show. I even liked him in Dick and Jane which didn’t get very good reviews, but I laughed a lot and thought he was good in it. He doesn’t necessarily give award winning performances, but he is decent.

I think that people should REALLY take a look at an earlier dramatic performance by Carrey. It was a television movie called "Doing Time on Maple Drive," which is available on DVD. Carrey has the potential (I think that his performance in "The Truman Show" should really be given a second chance). It's just a matter of getting the right vehicle. I mean, Robin Williams has done well in drama, why can't he?

I loved Ace when it came out but then I was just a kid. Quoted that movie every chance I got. Not a big fan of Carrey in his comedic roles now but Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind blew me away. LOVED IT. He should definitely do drama more often.

I liked "Sunshine". He was very good. He was good also in "The Truman Show" and "The Majestic". He's quite an actor. Although we're used to seeing him make funny faces (he of course started in comedy) he is also a good looking actor. One wonders how his career would look if he had went the dramatic/action route. I look forward to seeing "The Six Million Dollar Man". I wonder if he will be allowed to play it straight, or if the filmmakers will go with camp, as the original show was both.

You know, I haven't seen him on anything in a while...I wonder if he's working on anything. Anyway, I think he is a truly amazing, versatile actor. He goes from comedy to drama with no problem. I thought he was spectacular in Spotless Mind.
