There are three basic causes of the car not starting. First, the starter may have failed. If you can hear the engine still turning over as you try to start it, this has not happened. Second, something is wrong with the fuel pump. If I remember correctly, this car should have an electric fuel pump and fuel injection, so that is what I will tell you how to check. The easiest way to check for proper pump function is to go out to the car after it has been completely off for a while (key not in the ignition at all for at least an hour). With the battery recharged, put the key in the ignition and turn it to the "run" position (not start). For one or a few seconds, you should be able to hear a buzz from the fuel pump, which is it pressurizing the fuel system. If you cannot hear this, check the fuel pressure (there is usually a small valve on the fuel rail (what carries the gas to the injector/injectors) that looks kind of like the valve on a bike or car tire except usually slightly larger. depress the pin in the middle of the valve (there is frequently a cap over it that has to be removed first), and gas should spurt out. If this does not happen, I would suspect the fuel pump is either bad or has a bad connection or wire. If the fuel system is pressurizing, then your problem is most likely with the ignition system, and that something is preventing the spark plugs from getting the power they need to ignite the gas. If this is the case, the computer in the car will detect the problem and usually turn off the injectors, which is why you don't want to turn the key to the start position when listening for the fuel pump to run (and the starter motor makes too much noise). I hope this helps!

How many times do you want this answered? Do you think if you ask enough, that it will magically just repair itself? Have you tried ANY of the suggestions offered yet??

Could be that your Starter just broke down, since it was turning over and nothing happened.
