We should be less judgmental of people and respect their choice as regards circumcision. There are many reasons why people do it - - - religious, customary or cultural, medical or hygienic, aesthetic (appearance), etc.
I agree that in this day and age, circumcision is not absolutely a medical or hygienic necessity. If a guy observes proper hygiene, he can prevent smegma from accumulating under his foreskin and thus, prevent the odor associated with it. But who are we to say that smegma and its smell are gross & repulsive? Some people I know like it, some are even sexually turned on by it.
As to the sensitivity of the penis issue, there is no known scientific study which concludes that uncut penis is more sensitive than the cut ones.
Hence, live & let live. Respect each others' choice on this issue and be happy whether one is uncut or cut. Cheers!
P. S. Just for the record, I'm uncut & I have no problems about it. Cheers!
A big shoutout of "thanks" to Dr. Dave 1666 for his vote of confidence in my opinion. Cheers!

There are no pros. They are contrived by people trying to keep the practice going. Unfortunately, risks of circumcision are often ignored. There is 100% chance that circumcision will damage the male genitals as to function and pleasure. Not mentioning this fact is tantamount to spreading misinformation. This surgery takes away main male pleasure zones including mechanisms that help gain and maintain an erection. The foreskin is not just skin and does not just protect the glans (head). Circumcision is now known to ablate the most sensitive parts of the male genitals. This surgery takes away the main male pleasure zones with about 20000 fine touch and stretch nerve endings amputated. The foreskin has several parts including the ridged band that is great for ones pleasure (that is why nutters like Kellogg wanted to chop em off, to curtail masturbation), Masturbation is important for a mans physical and mental health. The ridged band directly contacts the vagina for very great pleasure all around. The dynamics of sex and the actual mechanism of the penis are drastically changed by circumcision. The foreskin can normally be slipped all the way, or almost all the way, back to the base of the penis, and also slipped forward beyond the glans. This wide range of motion is the mechanism by which the penis and the orgasmic triggers in the foreskin, frenulum, and glans are stimulated. The only touch organ possessing as rich erogenous innervation as the foreskin is the clitoris. Circumcision deprives man of 2/3ds of the main erogenous zone constituted of the foreskin and the glans. You should know that infant boys are EASIER to care for when they are natural (intact). The foreskin does not retract until late childhood or even puberty, so you do nothing special, just wipe the outside of his penis clean and leave it alone. Furthermore, to prevent painful and bleeding erections later in life, doctors are now commonly leaving more skin behind- in a cut boy this means you may have to push the left over skin back at every diaper change and clean beneath it to prevent it from adhering or infecting. The very thing that mother's think they avoid by circumcising! In short- Intact = wipe like a finger, NEVER retract Cut= vaseline, clean thoroughly, push back remaining skin to prevent adhesions etc (the last step perhaps for several months or years). BTW, the other risks (besides loss of sexual function, ED, PE and loss of PLEASURE) include curved or misshapen erection, painful erection, botches of all sorts (many requiring redo) and death. Boys DIE each year in the US from this sick practice.

My Dad was uncirc'd but his brother was?? My Dad is 4 years older then my Uncle. I was cut as a baby so don't have any knowledge about what it's like, only that in school I looked like all the other guys. Today I notice a lot of pics of younger guys on the net are uncut. Personally I like a cut one but in the right situation it's all good, if you like to swing that way.

I find it definitely neater, looks more handsome, more modern, more defined. Makes the head more full & round like a mushroom.
And the main reason for it is to please the ladies -to give them what they seem to want. It really gives the prick the appearance of a TOILET PLUNGER but with the plunger in reverse. It's also a way of imposing social control over the individual - a form of social processing. cut guys develop a higher, thicker ridge at the base of the glans, and this ridge tickles the woman's vaginal walls - so it's a sexual artifact. A device. It's like the choice ofwhether to put cuffs on pants or no-cuffs. It's a style or fashion choice.
but anyhow, it's sexy & HOT to do it.

wanker's note above was a good one, but a point he failed to mention was that there was a study a few years back that said that there may be an increased number of men with penile cancer if they were uncircumscised. pull the foreskin back daily in the shower to reduce the smegma, dry thoroughly to reduce fungal chances and pee away. be careful as you get older, because the chance of having a phimosis increases and you may get into a dither if this happens becuase you may not have a choice then and you have to be clipped.

Anymore most people do it because it's the "norm". But so long as you keep it clean it doesn't really matter. Some women don't like it uncircumcised so it's really just a matter of preference.
