Well you didn't mention where in Delhi will you be going to. But since you are basically looking out for stuff like sari's and all I suggest you go to Chandani Chawk (Old Delhi). It's a big bazaar and you will get every thing starting from a beautiful embroidered Kurtis to beautiful Saree's. Beautiful traditional jewellery to shawls, embroidered shoes to salwar kurtas etc etc. Every thing will be available there. Try visiting that place. And the most important thing Please bargain. Don't give away any price they ask you. For eg if they tell you it is for Rs700/- start with Rs200/- they will eventually come down to Rs400/- to Rs500/-. Hope i have answered your question.

i dont have the address for the place. but i have heard that there is a mall in delhi tat sells almost anything you could think of under one roof... you could check that out... its in new delhi if im not worng...
