Look, I believe you get what you pay for most of the time. In this case I think originals are the better deal; from what I hear, the quality is almost always better, you get quality packaging and an instruction manual. Pirated CD's sometimes don't work at all. There is no guarantee that a pirated CD is going to work right. Also, given the actual number of good games out there, I'd say go with what's legal and best. Consider used games as well. At least they come with a guarantee. However, if where you live, you have no choice, then maybe the $2.50 CD's are not really pirated. Maybe they are licensed by the manufacturer to potential contractors under the pretense of "black market". After all, CD's alone are worth only pennies.

Sometimes pirated games can glitch your system and not work. I tink ps2 is the only console so far that can use pirated games. Also, if you want a game to continue (series) you would have to buy the actual game to keep the game alive. Not only that you can get into some problems like fines or legal action. I don't have a PS2, but I know ppl that have pirated games

Original. For one if you get caught your screwed in the a ss and Sony fines you with millions of dollars. I wish I could have experienced pirated games though because when the PS3 comes out there will be too much damn encrypted security to pirate the dang things....

Don't buy pirated games! If you buy a game you really want illegally, the developers receive nothing from the sale, if you want more games like the one you bought, you have to tell them with your money:

"Hey, make more games like this!"

If they don't make money off the game they won't continue in that direction. Yes, games are expensive, but the cost to make them is higher.

I'll say again, buy games legally if you want to see more of that type of game!

you decide on originals. Their fairly is not any real reason to play with backups except you decide directly to hold mutually/keep your video games sealed. merely purchase the freaking sport you decide on and are not getting returned up video games. They harm the industry because of the fact human beings are not getting paid for the artwork they do to create sturdy/innovative video games. you're interior the incorrect activity in case you haven't any longer have been given money to spend.
