Wow, what she says seems believeable doesnt it? Well from my experience, thats not ALL true. Yes you need to be pretty, but yet, you need to have acting experience, you need to know how to do the acting. You can be a very pretty girl but a "eh" actress, or you can be a somewhat pretty girl but a great actress. Zack and Cody look for both, because they need pretty girls to keep one of the twins busy looking for girlfriends, yet they need pretty girls who can act, and not just be pretty all the time.
About the Agent, you dont EXACTLY get an agent after the show, you need to hire one, you can't have an agent who isn't being paid. Either you pay for the agent or the company pays for it, mostly likely it is you.

GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR AUDITION

One cannot HIRE an agent. Agents are strictly regulated by the state where the agency is located. You never PAY an agent! An agent deducts 10% commission from the income earned by the client (unless the actor is over-scale).

Agents find prospective clients by attending showcases and theater productions. IF an agent sees an actor that may be "right" for the talent agency, the agent will invite the actor to audition for him and his other talent agents. Children cannot sign an agency contract. A parent must sign an agency contract on behalf of a (minor) child actor.

It's possible that someone could be cast without an agent, if there is an open call.

However, you do need to have an agent for "closed" calls, i.e., casting calls that only go through agents. And those are more common.
