U.S. Sex Offenders Not Welcome?

Is anyone familar with the news about sex offender Malcolm Watson?
Should Canada have agreed to take him ? should he be registered in Canada as a sex offender?
I personally think the guy is getting a small slap on the wrist, Probation and staying out of the united states come on sexual abuse is a serious issue, what is the court trying to say to other peodiphiles.

What Do you think?

I think the U.S. is passing the buck. They don't know what to do so just give him to somebody else! I personally think that any form of sexual abuse with a child should carry a life sentence. Really, anyone who could look at an innocent child and be turned on by that is never gonna be right no matter how long they put them away.

I am not aware of this case but I know where you are coming from. In Australia we do not let registered sex offenders in and OZ sex offenders have a very rough time in OZ because of their actions - it doesn't matter if they are registered.

No country should take on another country's sex offender. They stay in their own country in jail or something like that. If they do take them on the least they can do is register them. It does sound like he is getting a slap on the wrist.
