Try going to your local 99 cent store. They usually have good stuff for people with little cash. I like getting the stuff for the kids there cause if they ruin it you wont get too mad. It was only 99 cents!

use your printers and a clip art software or the internet. Print and cut out halloween decorations. Get creative...anyone have a long rope and some old pantyhose? make a hanging person just add clothes. Happy Halloween

Well, when he was around 10, my creative grandson did this:

sliced plastic bags from the bottom up, (leaving the top unsliced), put a magic marker scary face on them, mounted them with string to the ceiling, then set a fan to blow them gently around- very effective & equally scary. The lights were low so the 'fingers' would stroke the faces or bodies of the guests. The strings were different lengths as were the bags. This would cost almost nothing.

Enjoy

don't sweat it ,for me every day is halloween. i'll tell you what to do:find the most disturbed individual on your dorm wing take him out to the local cemetery, once you're there all you gotta do is have someone else dig up the decorations(tip: find a head-stone that has a recent death-date like 1970-ish) with a shovel and bet the disturbed guy 5 bucks that he won't do it ,if he argues about the price-call him a punk;then when you've found a nice crusty dead guy to hang with ,spend your fifteen dollars on disposable cameras and black crepe paper and charge people admission to have their picture taken next to the dead guy wearing 80's sunglasses or funny hats.

Go to the Famaily Dollar Store, 99 cents store, Wal-mart etc. Be creative. It's amazing what you can do with crepe paper and Elmer's Glue! You should have some change left over from the $15.00 use the remainder thoughtfully!

you can either go to a 99 cents store and buy stuff. or you can go to other pre halloween parties and when it ends ask if you could have the stuff they use and probably offer to help clean up. that way you can get free decorations. good luck!

get some white fabric and a permanent marker and some rubber bands or string and some kleenex. cut the fabric into 8x8" squares then put some tissue on the fabric. then close the fabric around the kleenex so it looks like the kleenex is the head of a ghost. then draw a face on the fabric.

cotton balls stretched out to be cob webs and you can spray some red food coloring to look like blood and get some of those cheap plastic spiders to put in them. Better yet forget the decorations and put the money towards beer!

Crepe paper streamers & cut outs, the cheaper gourds & corn stalks. The idea of cotton cobwebs is a good one.
