Beetles do not have stingers, however they do have other weapons at their disposal. First of all is the bite. There are some beetles out there that could easily bite thru your skin. A stag beetle is a good example here. However, there is nothing to worry about, its bite could hurt but it is not any really serious damage.

Blister beetles can secrete a substance that can cause blisters and swelling. Not a fun thing. Not usually a dangerous situation for your average healthy person.

Another fun one is the bombardier beetle. This little bugger can spray a chemical concoction that reacts as it is sprayed. This spray becomes heated to boiling temperatures. It can actually cause burns on a person. Once again, this is a pretty cool defense but it is nothing to really be worried about. Just don't mess with bombardier beetles and you will be ok.

Finally, just for fun, here is a link about flesh eating beetles.

No, bettles do not have 'needles' to sting. Beetles have mouthparts similar to those of grasshoppers. Of these parts, the most commonly known are likely the mandibles, which appear as large pincers on the front of some beetles. The mandibles are a pair of hard, often tooth-like structures that move horizontally to grasp, crush, or cut food or enemies . Two pairs of finger-like appendages are found around the mouth in most beetles, serving to move food into the mouth. These are the maxillary and labial palpi.♥

worst beetles are a kind of blood sucking south americna beetle
they defecate as they feed on you when you sleep
the bite itches so you scratch and spread the feces, which contains a deadly microbe that causes heart disease, there is no cure and it always requires a heart transplant, usually within 20 years
no stinging though :-)

No. no stingers. The bombardier beetle can spray a chemical cocktail that scalds, though.
