I'm singing to a group of kids. I want a singable, kind of recent song. So if you have any ideas, GREAT! but i want to find out what the audience would look to hear. and see (meaning what should i wear, how do i stand in a nonboring position)

Kelly Clarkson has a lot of singable recent songs. You can get piano books that have the lyrics and accompaniment. Beautiful Disaster is a good solo piece. It sounds really pretty, but it's not overly challenging or anything. As for what to wear, just dress nice. Nothing revealing or anything, cuz then no one will pay attention to your voice.

how old are you if your not a teen then chances are if you sing a hip song its gonna be lame no offense but if your a teen yourself i would like to see soak up the sun wear a cute pair of jeans and a cute t shirt if your a bit older mabe i love rock n roll that would be awsome
