But since their were so many gays in her audience last night on Bravo, I will ask it here. Did anybody see Joan Rivers last night & what did you think? I think she is a riot! I was just wondering if she has always had a Gay following, like Bette Midler, who was also great in her heyday. Does anybody have an opinion of her. I thought she looked great & was funny as hell.

She has been around forever. I remember her when I younger, I am 50 now. Probably not that much difference in mine and her age. She looks so young. She was a favorite of Johnny Carson at one time & as I recall, was supposed to take over his spot, but I think they had a falling out of some sort.

yes joan is a hoot! she's crude rude and fabulous. she's always been popular with the "boys" we do love a *********. lolololol.........as for carson yeah she was his permanent stand in and they (nbc) released alist of possible hosts to replace johnny she wasn't on it, she got irrate left started a new show for fox that lasted a while, then jumped to daytime for several years, of late shes been doing her home shopping line of jewelry as well as e! red carpet and a memorable guest stint on nip/tuck.....it was good to see age hasn't mellowed her, shes the same old broad i remember.

Joan is da bomb....she is a legend,recently she was in Australia , and talk about laugh I thought my sides would split.
She has a following of Gays M &F as well as mainstream,
Why? Because she has a rapier wit and not afraid to have a go at any sacred cow or Politician of any persuasion.
The only thing is if I could suggest anything that she NEVER stands near a heater of any value cos her her multitudes of plastic surgery operations would melt, leaving her looking like Michael Jackson..Heaven forbid....(chuckle)

i think she has always had a gay following. i know i have always been gay and i love her. i think she is hilarious. but i think she is way past 50 or so now. and yes she was afav of johnny carson and of socrates too.LOL.

Honestly I think Joan Rivers is old and tired and has had far too many face lifts...she has that wide open eyed look.....also her humour comes from cruelty...she's just viscious....years ago she used to be genuinely funny...but that wore off long ago...sorry. just my opinion.
