Who / when / where?
I'm English, I now live in an old "Colony" & regard myself as poor. I've travelled the World & experienced only friendliness & compassion from the strangers I've met, from many nations, even the French :o)
Where as Americans I've met on my journies have run into countless issues, just because of their nationality, to the extent of claiming that they're Canadian :o)
The English Empire is long over & the attrocities are very poorly recorded but no other country as been based on the slave trade (let alone the poor) like the US.

now that's just an opinion that goes along with why do some people hate people that don't understand the truth of life?
it is one of most ridiculous questions I have seen in a long time.
the English as you have called them have not "colonized" in a very LONG time. please get back into your time machine and go back to the place you came from. or leave the twilight zone.

Just a reminder: The English haven't colonized in some time now. I don't think they are as hated anymore, but guess who has picked up where Blighty left things?? It ain't Australia, that's all I can say.

It is news to me that 'many people hate English People". I always thought that most people LOVE the English, Scotts and Welch !

I don't hate English people. Hate is such a strong word. Maybe some people don't get the British lifestyle. I personally think Americans could learn a thing or too about the Brits.
