I have a iBook G4 (laptop) and I already took it apart, but didn't have adequate tools, I then (somehow) screwed up the disk drive and now I cannot put disks in. (it seems there is something blocking it, it may be a piece of metal from the protectant cover inside the computer that bent and scratches disks when I try to put them in.) I knew what I was doing, but ran out of time, so a friend had to put it back together (we had already took it almost all apart to fix the I/O Bezel.

I've never worked on an iBook, and I would not take apart an unfamiliar machne without some documentation. Hand tools generally include an assortment of screwdrivers and a torx or two.

Floppy drives are hardly worth repairing, just swap it out and put in a new one.

Definitely a screw loose.
If you have one tool that is not up to the job it does not make sense to use another one that is equally useless.
