It seems like pitchers are throwing harder. Zumaya was hitting 103 and Rogers is hitting 94 when he usually only hits 90. what do you make of this?

They are running high to appear more interesting to the people that just watch at this time of year. The Yankees were around 3 - 5 mph high all year.

I don't know. Maybe the guns are a little off, or maybe the pitchers are actually throwing harder since it's the world series. Or, maybe they're using pine tar for better grip and better velocity.

They probably are throwing harder than usual because of adrenaline. But my opinion is the guns are all somewhat innacurate as seen in varying results in different stadiums.

umm im thinking they want the pitchers to feel better about themselves so they mark their pitches faster. you know its a plan by the league and do u know how stupid this question is.
