Whether in the house or in public, smoking cigarettes and drinking alcohol are definitely hazardous to your health, regardless of how small or big you drink or smoke. It affects you, your family and other people around you.

Yes, it is a choice...a very risky and even dangerous choice if you keep choosing it.

Peace.

Well if you only smoked a cigarette once a week, in your backyard, I don't think it really harms anyone. If you drink in moderation, then no, I don't think it harms you or your family. Things just aren't black and white as in alcohol = bad, cigarettes = bad, junk food = bad. Of course it is bad if you smoke, drink, eat it all the time. You shouldn't just judge someone though because you see them have a drink now and then. Some people can practice moderation because they actually have self-control! Imagine that!

PEOPLE are injurious to society. You can take ANYTHING and do it in excess, and it will become a hazard to your life functioning. Think about it - computer use, sex, exercise, eating, shopping, etc. People have addictions to ALL of these things, and these things are f'ing up their lives. That doesn't mean that sex, exercise, or eating are bad and harmful to society, it means that people sometimes have a hard time moderating themselves.

And if you want to give me a "thumbs down", it is only because you (whoever you are) yourself have no self-control. Almost EVERYTHING is bad without moderation.

Smoking, whether in public or private, is injurious to health.
In public, it leads to passive smoking of the others around.

Drinking, within limits, is good for health, provided the doctor has no reason to ban drinking in your case and provided you can afford it .
Excess drinking is bad for health.

I see that they are greatly and deadly harmful to me, to my angelic kids and to all other respecful neighbours.
I think I could not have the resolution and courage to thankfully get rid of them without the divine assistance of my Master.

It is seldom I have seen any body who has come out unscathed from this habit. Hundred percent, they will ruin themselves and their family.
