Anything with a good sound. Most subgenres of rock with a side of metal- especially if it is European. I LOVE the stuff that can't decide if it's hard rock or metal. The bands that make that kind of music make the greatest slow/calm/relaxing music as well. Gothic, industrial, and other are my main subgenres and the gothic metal-classical (not classic rock- real classical) hybrids are the best. It makes me happy. Genre hybrids rock.

I need something new for every mood I'm in, but odds are it ends up being kind of a sad alternative rock/pop, not too pop-y kind of music.
