I believe you mean rating points. Try to play a player whose rating is close to your own. If a player is rated at 1300, and you are 1600 and win your rating may only go up 1. If you lose to them you will lose more then 1 point.

at teh end the game takes away points for the tiles you have left in your hand and awards them to your oppent and if you go ouot you get the points he has and the are subtracted from his score great game

if u have one tile left and it is 5 points... you get -5 from your finishing score...

i think it depends on how many poinnts the opponent has? unless it was the same opponent, then i have no idea. thet may try to make it hard to raise your points...
