Yes, they have sprays that help "dissolve" soap scum. That new automatic shower cleaner is cute but I wonder about it's ability to do the job and will it be around a year from now?? Problem is your shower should be clean to start.
Another product will coat your shower aiding clean up. One is car wax the other is Gel Gloss. Don't put either on the shower floor!!!!! Too slippery.

A Scrubbing Bubbles Sprayer by Johnson and Johnson works well, But do clean your bathtub or shower first and then it will maintain the area clean with a daily spray. Refills cost about 3.50 and last about 3 weeks. Johnson & Johnson has a coupon offere for saving up to $10.00 on the sprayer.

There are all kinds of shower cleaners meant to be sprayed on after every shower to keep it clean "in between" cleanings. Personally, I do not think they work. I've tried quite a few different ones. I just use Comet every week.

I have an automatic shower cleaner, and I love it. The refills aren't cheap though.
If you have glass shower doors, after getting them clean, applying a thin coat of lemon oil will stop build up and prevent fogging. Switching to liquid soap will also cut down on soap scum.
Using a squegee on your shower after each shower will prevent mildew as will having an exhaust fan and running it a few minutes after each shower.

Vinegar is always a good cleaner. I also use something made by Scrubbing Bubbles, it's clear and doesn't cost much. I really like it, though I don't remember the name of it right now.
