Not true. I could say 'unproven', but the only way to find out for sure would be to get someone and put him/her in a lab. Considering that these cases are so rare, it will be a very long time until SC can be determined as scientific fact.
You can file this one with Bigfoot, fake U.S. landing on the moon, aliens, damaging electromagnetic waves from electrical wire towers, etc.

Never been proven, only a theory. There are closely related events that have occured before and those who claim to experience it but it's never been scientifically proven. That is, if you are referring to spontaneous human combustion.

It's fact. But there isn't clear explanation for it. Lot of people now think a person burns slowly from inside out rather than bursting into big flame like some use to think.
