I think about my answers, as I can't afford violations, but I don't put as much into it as I could cuz I need the points more than anything.

I'm not that hipped on points. I try to think about what I'm saying and make sure it's literate and understandable. Also, I have a tendency to joke, so I may have to re-think something to fit the reader's attitude, i.e., some folks just don't think their question is to be joked with, others don't mind, so I try to suss that out before I get to the post step. I also don't answer if I've seen several other answers that say basically what I plan to say.

Well since I only started checking this site out for the first time when i needed to pose a question, and I haven't got the foggiest idea what the points are for I would have to say I actually take the time.

I actually TRY to answer someone's question, not only for best answer though. I will actually try to look up answers to the question and give links. If the question is a dumb one like "do u like purple apples?", I'll call the guy an idiot and get two points or say something dumb like "only if they are ripe purple apples" lol :)

No I try hard to concentrate on my answers. When I was on a lower level and knew that I was getting close to my limit, then I might just answer a question for the points.

I don't really get the whole points thing, but I still want to have more points, isn't that just silly? But, I do try to put thought into most of the answers, its fun.

I endevour to put as much thought and effort into my answers as possible, as this is what I would like to expect in reply to my own questions.

Answering merely for points is selfish and unfair to the asker, who may really be seeking sincere answers to their question.

I hope that this has been a satisfying answer for you.

It just depends on the question, but since my brain works fast, I can give an answer without having to think too much, just like right now.

Most of the time I try and think of something clever to write... when I don't find that I just come up with something quickly... unless I want a best answer... I try and think about it a lot and then answer.....

i usually take the time and think of my answer because if i put down a good answer, i might get a best answer, which is 10 points...so i think my answers through MOST of the time
