Everyone knows that defense wins ball games. The NFC is full of Clubs that have top notch defenses and the AFC doesn't. I'm not saying there isn't any AFC teams that doesn't have sufficient defenses but none comparing to teams like, Carolina, Atlanta, Chicago, Seattle or St. Louis. The AFC has in the past several years been more offensive oriented and that being sometimes good, just won't in most cases get you a win in the end. All though, most people are going to say the Conference their favorite team is in, is the best and I being a Panthers fan did consider that option. But I chose to look at the numbers, the powerhouse teams and defensive playmakers the NFC has to offer. So, I say the NFC all the way.

The AFC has won 7 out of the last 9 superbowls so some of you need to get your facts straight before posting incorrect answers.

The AFC is much better. Who is good in the NFC. The Bears have the 28th easiest schedule in the NFL and this week play another beast in the 49ers; The NFC east is comical and have very little defense, and New Orleans is playing way over their heads.

The AFC has San Diego with the best player in football and a great defense, The Colts with the best offense, Denver with a great defense and you can't count the Pats out with Tom Brady at the helm, and Baltimore has great defense, and Cincy is really good as well.

I think the NFC is more interesting this year, but I generally like the AFC better.

I think the NFC is stronger this year and will probably win the Super Bowl. I see a lot of flaws in all the AFC leaders.

Dude, do you have any idea what "pizzle" is?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bull_pizzle

(P.S. You're very welcome. I only know that because my housemate bought some of those treats for her dogs, and they stunk to high heaven. I looked at the bag and was like, "Pizzle? What the f*** is pizzle? And why does it smell so bad?" So I went online and looked it up. And the pizzle got tossed in the garbage.)

To answer your question: the AFC. I would cite their recent (in the last decade) dominance in the Super Bowl as justification.

Over the past few years, I would have said AFC easily. But this year, the weak NFC divisions actually have some powerhouse teams. So I will say NFC.

I'll have to say NFC because clearly the NFC has the most super bowl wins than AFC and most teamz on the AFC suck
