ok since i think i will do patsy cline as my topic for the theme of triumph and tragedy, before i make my final decisions, can u think of any other famous (i prefer country) singers but i will be open minded about any genre of music that will fit into the theme??? an ppl, it does not alwayz hav 2 do w/ war and protests. : )
1. has to fit theme
2. has to be 25 years or older
3. has to be appropriate an fit in as much as it can so it can be approved by my teacher

I think you answered your own question. Patsy Kline is a good example since she was famous and met with an unfortunate death in a plane accident. She should be a good candidate for your teacher, she wasn't on drugs or died of an overdose, etc. Good luck with your paper I see an A.

I think Hank Williams Jr. would be good also. He was on top and then fell off the mountain and disfigured his face. He went through a lot in coming back to the top.

I loveeeeeee patsy cline, and she is a good fit, but a better fit would be michael jackson, who else has flown so high....and ten toppled so low????!!!! he would be perfect for trimuph and tragedy.

Did you watch Walking the Line? That was cool and had to do with drugs. He overcame that and went on to become a father and great husband. Johnny Cash!!!
