I was trying to make a point about the English language and it went over somebodys head. Did I ask it wrong at the start or did I ask it okay?

The real reason for that question is because my wife is from Peru and after 6 years, she doesn't understand the English language very well.

I get what you're trying to say. The bee just needs some pears is all. I don't know why a bee needs pears, but there you go.
No, to be honest, I get it, but I don't think that's exactly why English is so hard to learn, because that happens in other languages too. For instance, in Spanish, they have the same word (langosta) that means both lobster and locust. Also, in French, the word for lawyer is the same as the word for avocado. At least, that's what my Spanish teacher says (she also teaches French.)

People just have to be educated to understand . Do you know that the English language is the hardest language to learn ?

try keeping the questions short and simple.. alot of people don't wanna read this huge question because by the time you answer you forget what you were going to type.
