Because they want to keep resurrecting him sequel after sequel. He'll only die when the actor that portrays him dies...or maybe not. haha

Because they want to spew out countless sequals to great movies(such as Halloween), because event though most of the sequals suck, millions of people will watch them because there qualifications of a great movie is one thta has lots of blood, but usually has horrible acting, story, etc.
