I had ten babysitting jobs. I went to work at sixteen. Can you imagine how much money I would have had, if I had only saved 10 or 20% of that money in a savings account, and then rolled it into an IRA account or something like that. Oprh.com gives a lot of great money advise. I think it's just wonderful that someone so young is thinking this wisely. Please never do anything illegal. I can't tell you how my family has suffered because of this. If you ever even think of it, please read "The Coldest Winter Ever" by Sister Souljah. I raised two kids, and it seems like everyone is there to get the juvies into bad things. Please work and save 10 or 20% and you will be surprised how it will add up. I would also like to encourage you to learn to type. I made a very good living at a big company typing with some computer knowlege. They would pay for college, had great benefits, 401K. I can't say how wonderful it is, to see such a smart young person. Sometimes I loose faith, when I see so many young people who don't read, and don't seem to care what's going on in the world. Put a feather in your cap. You just put a smile on my face! If you get good grades, and can get a scholarship, you might want to consider a profession to help people, there is a lot of money to be made in healthcare. Also, there are so many people who need there houses cleaned, and that probably pays more and would be easier than watching kids. Best of luck. Our people in our building pay $10 to $15 an hour for cleaning! If you work hard and fast. How about that. That's better money than babysitting I think. You can also be a companion for an elderly person. Make a list, shovelling snow, raking leaves, anything to help older people, who are not too able. Or also, people who have good jobs, and don't have the time to do these things. Don't sell yourself too cheap.

Well, since you posted here, how about writing a book? Just because you can't spell doesn't mean you don't have something to say -- heck, the story about why you need five or six thousand dollars might be your big break!
But be sure to learn how to spell-check, and get a proof-reader for grammar and punctuation. You may have something to say, but editors get really picky about that kind of stuff.

You need to talk to your parents first. They need to be in on anything you do because you are legally a child.
I suppose you need this money in the next month or so. The only legal way for you to earn that kind of money that fast is modeling or acting. A regular job won't do it.
Do not fall for get rich quick schemes on the internet. They are scams and only make the person selling it to you rich.
