No prison offical would take this person seriously so now inmate need surgery and I was wondering if the inmates family would be notified?

get his story to the press and their supposed to tell his family he was hurt but that doesn't mean they will ,they wont tell them any details except perhaps it was a fight. but the press likes stories about prison officials not doing their job and will make it better when he sues them for not protecting him.

Put the request for medical care in writing. That way no one can say they were not notified. Send the story/letter to the press, the family, the alderman where the man lived, the jail and the prison board, plus anyone else that you can think of who might be able to help. Also contact legal aid, the public defender assigned to his case, etc. Good luck. Unfortunately this occurs more often that people are aware. Also contact an attorney in Chicago who specializes in this area. Call the Illinois State Bar association for a referral.

My girlfriend was raped there by 5 black women in the bathroom,with a mop handle.They did nothing,scumbags with badge.
