I'd suggest you make the new address before you delete the old one in case you want to backup some of your old e-mails.

The Forward button is a big help, but if you're using Firefox, there's an addon called AJAX Yahoo mail that will allow you to open 20 emails on one page. Save the page after all the e-mails are open and you've got them all.

Remember, the attatchments won't be saved unless you make a point of it.
