I FEEL YA!!! OMG, I used to work at a drugstore and had bi*tches for customers all the time, I would just tell the to go to hell when no management was around and no other witnesses or see them outside of the store and tell them what I think of them, cause for some reason ppl just think the store you work at is the ONLY place you'll be, I like to surprise them outside the store! GO GET THEM!!!!

I wish I was......
If you have an irate customer you turn it over to your boss to handle if your not able to handle the situation. Any good sales person knows that. I do agree with you that the customer is not always right.... but once you loose your cool and tell off a customer the SOB is going to make a total a** out of you. That is why they use the phrase "The customer is always right". If you need your job I think you had better think twice as it's always better to be safe then sorry. I suggest you talk it over with your boss and get the bosse's opinion and like I said, let the boss handle the SOB. Your not the only one who has been in that situation and that is one of the main reasons I got out of the sales business. I had a hot temper too. I sure smiled when I got fired though. Please don't take me wrong... I'm one of those on your side but it doesn't mean a thing. Just trying to give you some suggestions.

You don't. Yo bump it up to the manager, who says "Those are the store policies and there is nothing I can do about it." They will send them to the next manger who will say the same thing and so on anso forth. It is like Dante's Inferno and before they knowit they have wasted hours doing nothing. That is as close to hell as it gets. As for you, either spit in their food, which would be bad and I would notice so don't try it, or let them go and hope the next guy in line is better.

Unless it is YOUR business, I would not recommend confrontation with a client.

Besides being unprofessional and crass, you risk damaging the employer's business reputation .. and your career.

It will be to your advantage to practice random acts of kindness and senseless acts of self-control. Everyone you meet is facing some kind of battle and you have no way of knowing what is going on with your client.

If you find that you are simply unable to listen and respond politely, then refer the client to a supervisor. Then let it go.

Unfortunately, you probably will get in trouble unless you intended on leaving your job the sameday. Or, kill the customer with kindness. They always say being overly kind to someone kills them more versus going back at them in a nasty way.
