okay, u see the 3 buttons, press the 1st and 3rd button at the same time, then it will say "sound?" then put it on or off

Take it out side get a hammer and bring it down on it with a lot of force
let it swim in a bowl of water for 15 min. this will tire it out
Just kidding. I can't stand the things so my kids don't have one. Good luck. Best thing up from having no tamagotchi would be having a silent one

press the a and c buttons at the same time, it will say sound, press the a button to change it to off and then press b to select.

Hit is with a hammer. It'll be silent for you. Step on it with golf cleats if this doesn't work. Repeat if necessary.
