I want to buy new glasses that I'll still like two years from now. What is the future style in eyeglasses?

Oh I work at an eye doctors so I look at frames all day. I can not tell you enough how wonderful a tortoise color frame is. It really goes well b/c black is sometimes to harsh if you are pale as I am. I would say go for a designer frame but nothing over the top with rhinestones all on the side. Something that fits your face.

i just bought glasses today- the choices are probably a bit limited at lenscarafters, but what i noticed was there was mostly SQUARE laenses
so that must be whats trendy
i was looking for really big, really round glasses and had to have them custom make some out of D&G sunglasses frames
i got a reeally nice pair of versace- they WERE square lenses, but i needed something immediately while they make my other ones, i also got a really nice pair of round, sorta cats eye shaped anne klein ones for prescription sunglasses
but theyre very sparkly and purpley pink and girly
and big lenses, not too tiny at all
versace has nice nice frames
theyre pricey, but they are like little works of art, theyve put teensy strips of mirror stuff inside that reflect prettily off your eyes and theyre just really pretty
my personal opinion is that with everything looking so squared off and rectangular, and rather narrow on the market right now, the rounder kinds will be in fashion any sday now cause people like to be different
but thats just my opinion-plus, as a wearer
i prefer to have more visible surface- the bigger the lens the better

right now designer eyeglasses are all the rage but I dont know what the future will hold. I say go with a pair that flatter your face and are comfortable for you.

A lot of people where a bold frame. But I think later on more people with be into those glasses that are normal indoors but change to sun glasses automatically (the lens does) when you go outdoors in the sun.

I would probably say some that are comfortable and not really big and round, but more rectangular and down your nose a little bit. This seems to kind of be the style right now.

Small trendy plastic or metal frames, stylish and perhaps bright colors.
