Well, that's the thing. I see others ask questions that invite a negative response, and the one that gives a positive response, bingo, best answer. Even if the answer is repugnant or more likely, just plain dumb. I note that if you ask a R&S question, you get a lot of answers. Kind of like the blind leading the blind. Ask a do you hate Bush question and all the Bush haters respond. Do you hate liberals brings the rednecks out of the woodwork. And so it goes.

I note that your question wasn't aimed at a particular group. That made it worth responding to.

No. I think anyone can have an idea worth hearing.

Even if they were not the gender specified they can have a spouse or friend who told them something relevant to the question asked.

Even if they are not of the specified religion they can have info that clarifies a point.

Even if they are not personally an expert in a field they might have asked an expert that exact same question.

To me that says limiting the answerers limits the discussion.

Nope, I'm not in that "clique".. but I do like asking in Polls and answers, just because I can get more answers,, to review.. and don't have to categorize them... besides that "group" won't pick your answers as best, even if they are factually correct.. all about having some fun!

I usually only ask questions to seek knowledge or assistance in areas where I can't find the answer myself. I think I have asked those questions in several different categories.

Oh, I get it. I thought you meant like " I hope all the one eyed, blonde midgets answer this one". But I get it now...

No, I ask for anyone to answer. I'm not cool enough to be in an internet clique.

No I don't. I like for all kinds of people to answer my questions.

Seems like some people do. They get upset and defensive about their 'friend's' questions too
Can't understand it, really..... when there are so many messenger and bulletin boards already out there.....

Sometimes. Depends on what I'm asking.

I've asked very few, but I reckon they would fit in two categories: to get folks to think ... or to help others.
