Pass the ghost story is fun, but if a majority of the kids are under 10 that may be a little hard to pull off.
Anyway...
Here's a sight with some simple kids halloween themed games that you can look into. Looks like there's about 10 of them:

Applebobbing, I performed it on Bonfire evening with my acquaintances very last year, it became so humorous! I lost, I in basic terms were given 2 apples in spite of the indisputable fact that the list became like 20 so i became feeling very embarrassed! you may also do a video scavenger hunt, once you've a video digicam, you are able to make 2 communities and then have a itemizing of stressful situations of issues that is necessary to movie, i have performed that in the previous and that is quite interesting, you are able to movie such issues as eg. re-enactment of a scene from a movie, someone shaving, making up a dance, yet you'll have halloween themed such issues as suitable horror movie scene, or suitable scary funny tale or something.

My friend just did a school party for her 10 yr old, they played the gross food game. She placed different foods in a paper sack, and they could only guess what it was by reaching in and feeling it. They could not look at it! She used smashed bananas, shredded carrots, spaghetti noodles in water, and soaked pretzel sticks in water.

I remember when I was a kid, my parents blind folded the kids one at a time, brought us into the laundry room, they had bowls set up. One bowl was cold spaghetti noodles=brains, cold peeled grapes=eyeballs, that's all I remember, there were a few other things, be creative-think Fear Factor. Anyway, we had to dip our hands in it and figure out what it was, and of course we didn't, then they'd tell us and we'd all ewwwww lol. We all got a kick out of it.

That's a really good one for kids; it alone should get the job done. If you want more, just add in time for putting frosting and sprinkles on some cookies or bobbing for apples.
Hope this helps!
