We play a blend of Indie/Pop/Rock. Oh, and we also do some Christian songs. So whatchu think of the name?
P.S. Is it to close to Copeland? Hopeland has an entirely different meaning than Copeland. Anyhow, if it is to close, can you come up with another name with the word hope in it?

P.S. My debut is coming out on August 27 2007. Check it out! It's going to be my solo work and has nothing to do wit the band, but take a look anyway. I'll try to get a myspace started and start selling it there around thanksgiving next year.

It's a good name, but it's too close to Copeland, in my opinion. Also, Sigur Ros sings in a language that they made up called Hopelandic.
But I like the sound you guys are going for. All the best to you!
Cheers!

I don't know. Names are hard for me. I don't know anything about names. Our band decided on "And The Story Goes." I hate it. We even made a good song, but it's called "Paper Or Plastic." It has nothing to do with paper or plastic. It's really stupid.

i admire the call, yet particular, it is in simple terms too on the factor of "Copeland" and that could desire to be awkward on an identical time as they're so standard. i admire the incorportation of "desire" in the call nevertheless. What approximately some variety of fusion of the recommendations? desire & Zeal, existence*desire*Circle? looks like a sturdy mix of music, maximum suitable of large fortune to you. positioned up on organic quantity or YouTube once you upward thrust up and working.

i think you should name your christian band "The Found"
i'd like to see bands using "the" in their name.
