contrary to many of your beliefs, i dont really know if we should win. on one hand, it IS, after all, my damn country. however, let's take a look at 9/11. near 3,000 deaths. ******* monstrous. but hey, let's turn it around. how many iraqis have been killed since the beginning of the war? 200,000. damn that's right, 200,000 people. let's say that 50,000 are evil insurgent suicide terrorist bomber religious freaks. the other 150,000 are also victims just like 9/11. and just cause they're muslim does NOT ******* MEAN THAT THEY'RE TERRORISTS. we kill them too. remember that. and if we win, we're going to win with a bang. and you know what that bang is? another ******* 100,000 innocents. that's what. mixed feelings >_<

Yes,I want our troops to come home safely, and the Iraqi people to find a way to co-exist peacefully.
BUT--win? That depends on what your definition of win is... there is no yes or no answer. To win at war implies total subordination and/or death of "enemy combatants" Haven't we supposedly already done that? We took Sadaam and his Baath regime out, and then all the Iraqi citizens were supposed to welcome us with open arms. Now that they haven't, are we at war with the people we were trying to help? Kind of a "screw them for not being grateful" attitude? There is no "winning" any more--just damage control,

Of course I want the US to win, and they will, that will mean that the deaths of those brave men & women will not be in vain.

Define what "winning in Iraq means" if you can. Then I'll think about it.

Sure I want to win, but how can we "win" when we don't know what the goals are?
