14 thumbs up for Reba K. The government did NOT have the right to monitor ANY internet activity without a court order.... until recently
How much are YOU sacrificing Mr. Bush?

Yes, but only when they are on the clock, the questions they are asking are tell tale. Like How many ducks will I have left if I shoot one duck and Cheney's attorney? Another dead give away it is a government official is they ask if charging a lap dance on the expense card will be caught by an auditor, and how much should he tip?

Probably. My kids get fingerprinted every day to buy their lunch. Why not monitor sites like these? Key words they would search for are "do you think this forum is monitored by the government?"

Of course it is monitored. Just read up on what AT&T was doing out of their San Francisco offices - that was why the ACLU brought suit against the NSA.
Big Brother may not be specifically watching you, but you're in his files.

Everything is monitored by the government. That's why the Administration pushed to have laws to wiretap everything.
Yahoo is a private company that has turned your information over to the government many times. They have no allegiance to you.

My guess is yes, they are looking for terrorist right? I really am not sure because every thing is hush, hush. But the government has evolved into a 1984 clasic in the last 6 years.

I think they would look for certain words and phrases of words that they thought were threatening to the current administration... but there are too many people angry at it to watch everyone... they would watch the ones that can really get their message out there.. political blogs etc.

Absolutely. This is a trick question, right? Any media that has the potential to allow 'terrorists' to communicate is monitored.
