Have you had any encounters with them? If so, where, and what happened?

i just happen to be a ghost hunter and i speciallize in that. What i do is i pretend to do a mysterious thing and the next week people are writting me letters about how the ghost is gone and stuff. I have never encountered a ghost, but the people i meet are pretty weird.

I believe in them...and the main reason is the theory that energy cannot be created nor destroyed. I think people's energies still exist, even though the being is long gone. I've never encountered a ghost, but I'm anticipating the experience.

J.Yes I believe in ghosts, I have never encountered any but feel there is a spirit that visits me from time to time and sits on the bottom of my bed from time to time, no it is not a cat, I don't have one. The pressure moves along the bed and recently up the side. J. Miller

FEAR of the dead rests on one premise—that the deceased has a soul or spirit that lives on after death. If the Bible plainly teaches that this concept is false, then the question of whether the dead can harm you is laid to rest. So, then, what does the Bible say?
Concerning the condition of the dead, God’s Word says: “The living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all, neither do they anymore have wages, because the remembrance of them has been forgotten. Also, their love and their hate and their jealousy have already perished, and they have no portion anymore to time indefinite in anything that has to be done under the sun.”—Ecclesiastes 9:5, 6.

In view of that, can the dead help or harm you? No, say the Scriptures. The dead are unconscious and in silence. They are incapable of communicating with the living or of expressing any emotion—love or hate—or of carrying out any action. You need not have any fear of them. Confirming that the dead cannot say anything, do anything, or feel anything, Psalm 146:3, 4 states: “Do not put your trust in nobles, nor in the son of earthling man, to whom no salvation belongs. His spirit goes out, he goes back to his ground; in that day his thoughts do perish.”

So, no. I don't believe in Ghosts.

I believe. My mom is Cherokee and she has always believed in spirits walking the earth. She said you have to be open and not fear them to see them. I have seen several unexplainable things - I was driving on a little country road heading home late one night with the my arm hanging out the car window, singing at the top of my lungs, not a care in the world when a large white thing came out of the woods. I tried to dodge it, but it brushed up against my arm and was icy cold. My arm stayed cold to the touch for about three hours after the encounter. When I told my mom, she had already seen it many times and was very happy that it had presented itself to me - like it was an honor. Scared the crap out of me, is what it did. Since then, I am not afraid and see strange things occasionally - not as much as dear ol' mom.

Yes, I believe in spirits and imprints. I have seen what I believe was an imprint, a spiritual image left on the enviorment at my grandmother's house when I was a child. I have also experienced what I believe was self-aware spirit-guided activity. I heard a woman crying where there was no one. Also I watched a mechanical dog ( with no batteries ) move and bark UP the side of a TV.

I believe some energy may still be around, I know a person who has had many experiences, and something happened, door knob turning, when I was a guest, but have never seen anything and I am glad. I am first rate, absolute, bona fide, scaredy cat, so I am happy with never seeing anything ever

Ghosts do not exist, I don't know why anyone can possibly still think they do...I thought we stopped beatng this fish millenia ago...
There is no proof, and most of the people who believe in or see ghosts are certifiably delusional or hospitaly insane.
