First off there is a difference in Black people and what you are talking about. If you want more of a hip hop style (which include both Black and WHite)......Well grow up and act your age.....if your 17 then never mind, and have fun pulling up your pants and acting like your cool but everyone else in the world thinks that you APPEAR to be dumb, a thief, confused on what size clothes you need and you can have all those ho's that come with that. I will keep my beautiful preppy respectable women. Good luck

I am Black and here is how you can be like me and other Black people I know. Get an education, find a career, respect yourself and the others around you. Honor your parents and your elders. Be a good role model for the children around you. Have an interest in reading, the arts, travel, listen to several genres of music (know how to read music as well). Be well traveled. Support your churches and professional organizations. Be courteous and carry yourself with grace and elegance wherever you go. Demand respect from the people you date and interact with. Enjoy a home full of laughter, but orderly, clean and pleasant. These are some of the ways my friends and I act. I am definitely Black and you are most welcome to act like me. Needed to give you some instructions to make sure you do not buy into the stereotypical crap attributed to Blacks.

If you weren't raised around mostly blacks, it will be hard for you to "convert" now. I went to school were there were TWO white girls in first grade and she pinched me in the first five minutes. I didn't make friends with her until 12th grade! In 7th grade, we all moved to a junior high, so I met more whites. But I still kept my black friends too. I'm 41 now, and the blacks I grew up with always say I'm the same as I always was. I didn't reject them for not being white, even though I went to school right after the schools were intergrated here. I live in the Deep South. Or the Dirty South...if you want me to talk "black". To me, the funny thing is, I'm a rapper and the blacks I work with tell me daily to sing them so and so song...which ever of my rhymes is their favorite.
You started too late.

If you don't know why your black friends call you dawg, then you have little or no hope of "finding your inner blackness", but if you're serious, you can start by going to a black church...Baptist or AME are the best. Avoid Jehovah's Witnesses. And listen to the music of (in this order):

Louis Armstrong,
Mahalia Jackson,
Fats Domino,
Chuck Berry,
John Lee Hooker,
Stevie Wonder,
Miles Davis,
Barry White,
Luther Vandross,
Michael Jackson,
Sade,
Busta Rhymes,
and Jay Z.

You'll be a nìgga 'fore you know it.

If you think its weird that they call you dog Then sorry but you have no chance
I'm not Black but I have a LOT of black friends. Some people mistake me as black sometimes I dance like them I hang with them and Sometimes i even talk like them
And as for trying to learn how to be black; It's something your born with, It's not about Trying to fit in its just going with whatever life throws at you!
Hope that helps!

Instead of being a "wanna-be", why not just be the best you possible??? It is far, far better than being a pale joke!

And the original expression translates as : The more I see of men, the better I like my dog.

What an idiot! Try your damnest, because we use you for entertainment! Be who you are, or you will be a constant source of amusement, and no one will respect you, as you are being fake! It will cause you even greater pitfalls with the ladies than you already have, trust! But thanks for the question, as me and all my "dogs", had a real laugh about it!
